Australian CleanTech Cluster

Founded in 2011, the Australian CleanTech Cluster Cleantech represents 300 companies that provide a wide variety of solutions including products and services involved in renewable energy, water, waste, recycling, energy efficiency, energy storage, building products, transport technologies and environmental services.

The national Australian CleanTech Cluster provides a mechanism for diverse cleantech companies to effectively collaborate in their dealings with target customer groups of

• Property, Built Environment and Infrastructure
• Food and Agriculture
• Advanced Manufacturing
• Mining and Resource
• Global Development

Since inception, the cluster has delivered many workshops, showcases and opportunities for members to interact with potential customers. These activities were funded through a grant from the Australian Department of Industry that ended in June 2015. 
  Industry Services

The Cluster provides services to industry and government through helping them to define and resolve specific challenges connected with energy, water, air, waste or other environmental issues. The cluster will work with industry to scope the challenge and then will work with cluster members to provide economic and viable solutions that can be presented back to industry. This has been successfully delivered for challenges in the fishing industry, mining sector, property sector and manufacturing sector.
