Australian CleanTech conceived and has introduced the concept of Cleantech Networks to Australia in 2008.

The Cleantech Networks provide a forum for investors, companies, government and academia to meet, learn about the sector and collaborate.

The SCN will not be a profit making venture but rather provide a forum for the organising partners to increase their industry profile whilst providing a useful forum for industry participants.

It is anticipated that the Cleantech Networks will evolve into organisations with a national as well as a state focus and aims to become a hub for all the key cleantech discussions within Australia. In time it is also planned to establish the Cleantech Networks as a hub for international activity within Australia and as such those involved in the SCN may be seen as the gatekeepers for international participants looking to link with either companies or investors within the Australian cleantech sector.
